Hummus Recipe

Hummus is a delicious, high protein dip that is vegan. There are many variations, but here is a recipe for a traditional version.


  • 1 16 oz can chickpeas (reserve the liquid) or use 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup of tahini

Place these ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the reserved liquid to get the desired consistency or to make the blending easier.
