Green Smoothie

It seems that everyone has a green smoothie recipe these days. Here is a simple starting off point you can use as is or with additions of your own.

The basics are:

1/2 an avacado

2 cups fresh greens (spinach, kale, chard)

1/2 cup frozen mango

water to taste

Blend until smooth. 

Yes, it really can be that simple. Depending on your diet requirements and tastes, here are some options:

1 scoop protein powder (plain or vanilla)

1 banana (this can replace the avocado)

1/2 cup pineapple

1/2 cup frozen green grapes

1 scoop greens powder
